Overview of the Hawai`i Judicial System – Hawaii State Judiciary

The mission of the Judiciary, as an independent branch of government, is to administer justice in an impartial, efficient and accessible manner in accordance with the law.
Hawai`i’s judicial branch is a unified state court system that functions under one administrative head, the Chief Justice of the Hawai`i Supreme Court.
The Hawai`i State Judiciary consists of:
For access to Traffic cases; District Court, Circuit Court, and Family Court criminal; District Court, Circuit Court civil, and Family Court civil; Land Court and Tax Appeal Court; and appellate court case information.
